We will be looking at more problems with Neoliberalism and some solutions. It is time to get ready to choose the topic you wish to discuss with the class. It need not be any we discussed with the class or you may wish to dig deeper on one of the topics we discussed. More information is on the assignment page.

NOTES FOR CLASS THREE

The videos for this week are not embedded in Powerpoint, so they should work. A couple of videos that we did not see last week are included this week.  (powerpoint in classroom 2 has been very frustrating.)

FIRST CLASS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Sorry about the Powerpoint presentation not working. In a way, it may have been a good thing since we had such as great discussion and a chance to get to know each other. I was personally impressed by the knowledge, background, and commitment of the class members. It looks like an active exploration.

Despite the lack of focus on topics, the discussion went along very well. The Slides will bring better focus, but discussions must take preference over slides. There are so many areas that need our attention. That means we cannot have any depth in all of them, so we will follow the interests of class members and not discuss other topics. There are links to many of the topics on the website and I have books and other materials you can borrow if you want to pursue some these areas.
